Today's Recipe - Yeast Bread

Recipe: Ingredients: 2 c. milk 1 pkg. dry yeast 1/4 c. water 2 tbsp. fat (or oil) 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. salt 6 c. flour (approximately) DIRECTIONS: Scald milk. Add fat, sugar, and salt. Add water and cool. Add yeast and half of flour. Beat until smooth. Add remaining flour 1/2 cup at a time until it can be handled. Knead. Let rise and punch down. When it has risen again form two loaves and let rise. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes or until browned.
