Today's Recipe - Lula's Pennsylvania Dutch Sour Cream Apple Pie

Recipe: Ingredients:. 1 9" pie crust -----filling----- 1 1/4 cups sour cream 1 cup sugar 3 tablespoons flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla 4 cups thin sliced tart apples 1 egg -- beaten -----crumbs----- 1/4 cup cold butter 1/3 cup flour 1/3 cup brown sugar DIRECTIONS: Blend crumb ingredients together and set aside. Combine sour cream, sugar, flour, salt and vanilla. Add apples and beaten egg. Bake in shell for 25 minutes in a 400F oven. Remove from oven, add crumbs. Return to oven for 20 minutes. Cool and refrigerate. Serve when cold.
